Meet the Team

At the start of 2022 I met Kara and by summer, Make Play was born. The following year we quit our jobs and haven’t looked back since.

This is my dream job! After graduating from arts school, I spent over a decade working as a primary school teacher and some of that time as a Senco too. I love working with children and I love people. During that time I realised that my main interest wasn’t in the classroom, it was working closer with children that thought a bit differently and found school challenging.

Now I work as an artist as one half of Make Play. My favourite parts are coming up with ideas for new projects, getting to spend a lot of time crocheting and using a glue gun and working with children. None of our projects are the same, I love the variety we get to experience and feel lucky everyday that I get to do this with Kara.
